The traditional Japanese breakfast was a unique experience and the onsen had a beautiful view of the mountains. The staff was polite and accommodating, but their limited English made communication difficult. The location was remote but peaceful, perfect for people seeking a getaway from the city.
The outdated facilities were not well-maintained and cleanliness was questionable. The futons were uncomfortable, and we were disappointed to find that we didn't get the beds we had requested.

The hotel is surrounded by lush forest, and the view of the river is breathtaking. The traditional Japanese breakfast and dinner are excellent, and the staff is polite and attentive. The outdoor hot spring is very relaxing and offers beautiful views of the surrounding nature.
The carpets are old and worn, possibly not clean.

During my stay, I enjoyed the traditional Japanese breakfast, which was presented beautifully and offered a unique experience. The outside women's Onsen was also a highlight, surrounded by dense forests and with a stunning view of the water streaming down from the mountains. The hotel staff was courteous and attempted to be helpful despite the language barrier. Additionally, this location had a serene and peaceful ambiance due to its location near lush forests.
Cannot find any fault.

During my Easter break, I had the pleasure of experiencing an authentic Japanese ryokan, immersed in the mountains and surrounded by lush nature. The meals were exquisite, with a great balance of traditional Japanese ingredients and flavors. The staff was always attentive and made sure I had an enjoyable stay. The outdoor hot springs were the perfect spot to relax and unwind after a day of exploring the nearby attractions. , the location was ideal, close enough to attractions but far enough to escape the city crowds.
Although the interior of the ryokan had a charm of its own, it was clear that the facilities were a bit outdated, with some worn carpets and old furniture. the language barrier made communication with the staff difficult at times, but I appreciated their efforts to accommodate me.
